Kimya Dawson cancelled her 12/5/11 show at the Cedar Cultural Center the day after I finally bought our tickets. I had really been looking forward to this show after how great her performance at the Triple Rock was and how satisfied I have been with her newest album Thunder Thighs. I had sent Chris a message saying that her Twitter bio had changed from something like "aka that Juno lady" to "single mama" something something something. Then one of my followers on twitter responded to one of my tweets saying the Cedar had just announced the show was cancelled. According to the website it was cancelled for unforeseen family issues and refunds are being issued. Her twitter has only a few vague tweets along the lines of sorry guys and change of plans. Our speculation is that she might be going through a divorce?
